Views up, new features being added
According to Zillow, in September more than 2.4 million homes were viewed on their smartphone and tablet apps, averaging 28 homes every second. To meet the needs of their growing audience and to take advantage of their Zillow Mortgage Marketplace (ZMM), the company has announced that new features are coming to the iPhone app.
When users visit the iPhone app, they will be able to see a monthly payment amount for any property without having to leave the page and ZMM is integrated in the form of access to the lender marketplace, real time mortgage rates, a payment calculator, affordability calculator and a refinance calculator.
Aside for integration of the Mortgage Marketplace, the home screen has been updated to make saving, filtering and searching easier and Zillow tells us that the map search has been sped up as well.
Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff said, “Real estate is inherently mobile, and our goal is to provide people with information about homes – and home financing – whenever and wherever they need it.”
There is no word as to when the Zillow Mortgage Marketplace will be integrated into their Android app or when an Android tablet app will be released by the real estate search giant.
