While I enjoy iGoogle and have experimented with a variety of home pages for my browser to simplify my day, I have settled on MyFaves as my new home page.
There is no account or signup necessary, and when you set it as your homepage in your browser, any time you open a new browser window, you’ll be greeted with beautiful, simplistic icons for all of the websites you have chosen.
When I originally checked out MyFaves, the options were limited and you couldn’t customize, but now that I can add any website I want and select a custom icon, it is actually useful to me. I have AgentGenius and my humor blog with their own icons and I can set it to scroll for when I add up to 25 websites.
iGoogle is useful, but it’s too cluttered for me. Giant, clickable icons is what I’m really looking for (and have found) and a fast load time (which is NOT a feature of iGoogle) is critical. So if you want a fast homepage with a simple, beautiful interface, MyFaves is for you! What icons will you load onto your new home page? Tell us in comments!
