Spot-on Connect IDX
Spot-on Connect is an easy to install WordPress IDX plugin that gives real estate websites full MLS search, and they claim it takes less than a minute to activate (see the video above). The service is $29 per month and requires no contract or setup fee.
The company offers SEO friendly URLs with each property in a Realtor’s MLS creating a unique URL with the property information right on the agent’s own website, making it to where Google can index all listings on the Realtor’s site directly, allowing them to come up in Google search results. What makes Spot-on Connect considerably different is that they do not use sub-domains, frames or complex setup processes.
Listings can be shared across social networks, set to blog as they come on the market, and best of all, the design is minimal and non-invasive.
As a young company, they are not in all MLS areas yet, so for the markets they are not yet set up in, they are offering free IDX for the agent who takes them into their market, which is a common approach for growing IDX companies, and a far less complicated process than just three years ago.
Because it is not as feature rich as full-featured (and costlier) IDX options, it is a great starter IDX for real estate professionals who are seeking a simple, low-cost option.
