What Has Twitter Done For You Lately?
On an especially lucky Twitter moment, I spied a free pass to BlogWell. Free. Blog. San Jose. Calendar open. I’ll take it! Me! Gimme that ticket.
Then I jumped over to the main sponsor’s site and: Oh, they have a cool cartoon character girl just like I do on my blog. I like it.
Always More
There’s always more learn and I was seriously curious to find out corporate America’s take on blogging. Where are they with it? What do they think? How are they managing? How does the real estate industry compare? Are we far ahead or far behind? How often do they post? Do they have a lot of pictures? Where do they see it going? How much of an investment are they making in it? What about video? Do they use it? If so, how?
If it’s important enough to have a conference, there must be something there.

Take Away
This small membership of corporate America is paving the way for their peers just like we are. They’re teaching each other and sharing information just like we are. They have different battles to overcome such as disclosures, rogue employees blogging about insider information, blog training; and instituting policies like Microsoft’s “tap on the shoulder,” which is equal to a “hey dummy,” slap on the back of the head.
But the fact is that they’ve done the matrix. They’ve concluded there’s extraordinary value. They’ve found that blogging isn’t for everyone. That you have to get outside your home turf. They understand it’s the start of a long journey. How about you? Are you on the journey? Have you found the value?
