Twitter profile redesign to emphasize more user stats

Change is coming

Mashable.com stumbled across Twitter’s design team’s leader, Doug Bowman’s leak of a single screenshot of Twitter’s upcoming redesign.

While not much information is shown in the leaked image, one can see that user stats and cleaner typography are involved in the next design upgrade of Twitter:

Interestingly, most services can fudge user interface details without much attention, but Twitter is more than a network, it has become an alternative communication tool like the phone, fax or email which is why such attention is given to the site.

We look forward to seeing what more is in store for Twitter, it has a lot of room for improvement, so I don’t think they’ll have to actually try that hard. That’s a great position to be in.
