Trello has done wonders to help teams work interactively with one another. In fact, it is the main platform of communication for The American Genius crew.
With Trello, we are able to keep everyone informed of assignments, due dates, and any announcements that are of vital knowledge. As a result, we are able to be work cohesively and productively, while the individualistic work is done a little more collectivistic way.
Track the cards and accomplishments
Now, another component has been launched that helps with Trello reporting. 32dayz is the new way to see how much your team is getting done.
According to the company, “32dayz for Trello automatically tracks which cards were moved forward or accomplished across all your Trello organization’s boards. You will get daily digest and see what your team has really done.”
With 32dayz, users are able to automatically track the cards that were moved forward and/or accomplished across all active Trello organization’s boards.
A daily digest is then generated to examine team performance.
Check progress and overdue work
The daily digest is then broken down into columns. The columns offer the cards completed, cards in progress, and overdue cards.
With cards completed, users can see what their team has done across all Trello boards within the last day, last week, or last month.
Cards in progress allows users to see what is happening in real-time by seeing what team members are working on right then across all boards.
And finally, the overdue cards column allows users to keep track of what needs to be completed.
Export reports and manage projects
32dayz also offers a variety of other abilities including: track time spent on tasks and projects, export reports into PDF, Excel, and CSV, drill down into employee time across projects, departments, and tags, make company-wide announcements and discuss them, keep track of vacations and days off, change work schedule and keep colleagues informed.
This new aspect of Trello is in beta and is, currently, free.
This is ideal for teams who work solely through computer-mediated communication.
Being that it can be difficult for everyone on the team to be on the same page, when they are not even in the same location, any way to increase productivity and accountability is worth exploring.
