By June of 2010, we had a stride, a method and there was a lot less stress in organizing everything. Many volunteers who worked at the sign in table were repeats from months before and knew how to kept the crowd moving.
By our second event at Union Park, we had all slowed down on the mojitos, but after doing BASHH for so long, most attendees have learned to take the next day off (I’m not kidding). Get on Twitter the day after a BASHH and see how many people are just waking up at noon. Try it, I dare ya!
This month, Annie Ray brought a giant pink backdrop for her photobooth and people took to it really well. Chalk boards were made up for various fun sayings and when we weren’t all at the photobooth, the weather was actually really nice and the rooftop was where a lot of us parked it until well after midnight.
