It is customary in the South to be very polite to ladies, but put a beer in some people (guys and gals alike), and the filter suddenly goes away, and we women hear ridiculous things that we are too polite to punch people for saying (but should).
This happens a lot to women at events like BASHH, and we want to insist once again that behavior like this be left at the frat house, not at adult events. Take a moment to read how shocking some behavior is, and yes, these really happen, even in Austin:
