Hello, HelloFax!
SAN FRANCISCO – When Y-Combinator backed, San Francisco based HelloFax.com launched at the beginning of this year, we were enthusiastic that a low cost, totally digital option could go mainstream for going paperless. While there are much more complex digital signature companies available that offer more sophisticated options for business, HelloFax has relaunched with their newest suite of features which include requesting signatures from other parties.
“With signature requests, you can have people fill out and sign the document in the browser. They never have to touch a fax machine, printer or scanner. With this feature, a deal that might normally take days to get signed can get signed in minutes,” the new company says. “Sign, edit and fax documents online,” is their tagline and it couldn’t be simpler.
With the brand recognition of the fledgling startup and the rapid adoption of the extremely simple, clean design and self-explanatory company, and their frequent offers of free pages, HelloFax could make a huge dent in papers across America. Pro accounts are assigned a local fax number, so for one of the lowest price points on the market, you can literally throw away your fax machine (although we recommend recycling, don’t just throw it from the top floor of your office or beat it with bats, Office Space style).
