We recently reported on America’s top 10 least expensive homes and found listings for as low as $3,000 and while we enjoy finding the deals across the nation, we wanted to contrast those ten listings with the following eleven which are the most expensive cities in the top 11 largest metropolitan areas in America and note the large disparity in how expensive New York and Los Angeles are compared to places like San Antonio and Phoenix.
We do not care who the owners are, rather prefer to peek at the extremes in the market that is on a roller coaster itself. Take a look at these eleven listings and tell us in the comments what you think. Click any image to view more details and to visit the actual listing online for more photos:
1. New York City – $90,000,000
2. Los Angeles, CA – $65,000,000
3. San Diego, CA – $18,000,000
