Streak CRM: free, lives in your inbox, popular with startups

While the customer relationship management (CRM) industry is packed with competitors, Streak CRM stands out not only for its price, but because you don’t need extra tools, it is a layer on top of your Gmail account. Genius!

Streak CRM helps simplify your business life

A common theme in startup companies is simplifying and streamlining the lives of their target markets while adding valuable features, so they can get the most done with the least amount of effort and the shortest time. As part of that target market, one common problem that professionals have today is juggling multiple programs, windows, and tabs just to get through their everyday work responsibilities. Not only can this be frustrating, but it can take more time than is necessary, especially when your work revolves around managing your customers and sales.

Instead of keeping several tabs open to accomplish your daily tasks, Streak has made it so you never have to leave the comfort of your Gmail account. Before you write it off and move on just yet, it’s important to know that Streak doesn’t alter your email messages or settings in any way. It simply adds an additional layer over what already exists, giving you the ability to increase efficiency and productivity when it’s convenient for you.

How Streak CRM works:

Before you can begin using Streak, you must first add it to your favorite, most-used browser. Then, simply login to your account. Finally, go to your Gmail account and have at it. One of the coolest features is that you can track customer sales, at all stages of the sale. But you can do more than that. You and your team can choose to include customer correspondence for everyone to see.

So, when you login to see where the customer is in the process, you can see what has been said and who has already talked to them. Because all of that information is in one place, you can be sure you have the most current, up-to-date data possible. Other than CRM, you can keep track of the hiring process, reported bugs and when they’re fixed, customer support, and even schedule when your emails are sent.

Always a free option around

Because Streak is in Beta, you can sign up for free. They promise that even after they’re out of Beta, there will always be the option of a free account when other premium accounts are offered in the future. The prices and the features for premium accounts haven’t yet been released, but Streak is undoubtedly working toward improving and strengthening what they currently offer before moving forward. Although it may take a while, it should be worth the wait in the end.
