Presentation Hero Academy to launch this week

We’ve all been there, slogging through another corporate meeting or training in which the presenter fails to deliver their message due to a less than stellar presentation style. Eventually, you will find yourself on the presenter’s side of the table and you may need some help fine tuning your skills so that your audience isn’t nodding off or looking at their Twitter feed.

Whether this is the case, or public speaking is part of your job, Presentation Hero Academy is an online startup launching this week which aims to “Save the world from bad presentations.” The course is designed to walk you through presenting in any kind of situation, from webinars and sales presentations to public speaking engagements.

There are quick video lessons you can view at your own pace, and you will get to connect to a network of learners and experts for feedback or any questions you may have. With this course, you will “Go from motivating your audience to providing them with actionable to-dos, while keeping them excited about your content.”

How the course is structured

The course has three modules to get you started. Presentation Structure teaches you how to motivate your audience and get them excited about your subject matter. This structure reveals the most important thing about giving a presentation: knowing your audience. The Presentation Design module will get your slides in top notch form and teach you how to do so using almost any kind of presentation software platform.

Presentation Delivery helps you deliver your message with professionalism and poise while still keeping true to your personality. There are many other modules and resources available in the course too. You will have downloads, activities, and even podcasts at your fingertips so you get the most out of the course.

Why you need to brush up

For anyone with a commitment to professional development, wanting to improve their presentation skills, or those who don’t want to pee themselves giving a speech, this course is for you.

There is a famous quote by Dale Carnegie that says, “There are always three speeches, for every one you actually gave. The one you practiced, the one you gave, and the one you wish you gave.” With the Presentation Hero course behind you, you will always give the one you wish you gave.
