Whether you’ve found a job through our rowdy group, are an employer who frequently uses our free resources to find talent, or you are someone that just loves ADJ, we’re asking for you to be a monthly contributor so we can keep this wildly popular group and events around.
Many job seekers start contributing once they’ve found their next job to pay it forward. Employers that don’t yet have the budget to be involved offline contribute to keep us from having to charge to post. Regardless of your motivation, the community needs your help.
The boat theme is an inside joke (sorry) and we’d be honored if you helped us keep this boat afloat!
Please select a dollar amount that fits your budget – all benefits are the same – we APPRECIATE you!

Frequently Asked Questions
It is free to join our Facebook Group and to attend our many events, but since we’re all friends here, I’ll confide in you that the money we charge employers to be at our offline events doesn’t even come close to covering what it costs to run ADJ. Not even close.
Want to contribute more, or are hoping to contribute once instead of monthly? Tell us what’s on your mind!
So sorry – much like our love for you, contributions here are not tax deductible. We are not registered as a 501c3, but if that changes, you’ll be notified.
No refunds, sorry, we already used it to buy ads and beer (for events, for you, not for us while we work). But you are able to cancel your monthly contribution at any time.
That’s a great question, and we have no judgment here – the best way you can contribute right now is to be involved! Share memes on the meme threads, introduce yourself in the weekly announcement post, answer questions others have if it’s in your area of expertise. We want to see you at our events (and heck, maybe volunteer at the door for an hour if you’re into that sort of thing)! And of course, if ADJ helps you land your next role and money starts coming back in, please remember us and come back here, friend!
Uh. We don’t have any way to accept organs, but please consider being a donor in general, we guess?
Yep, terrified, but once upon a time, we asked the group what they wanted to be called, and instead of something normal like “ADJers” or “ADJeees,” someone suggested “Boaty McBoatface” around the time that a foreign ship had been named the same thing, and it stuck. It has made for a neat inside joke, albeit weird. It gives you some quick insight into what Austin tech people are like!
You can TOTALLY do that if you enjoy being arrested, but yo, this is a really weird place to ask, and it’s not relevant. Why are you the way that you are!? Let’s try to stay focused, you weirdos.
Hit up our contact page any time – there is (mostly) no such thing as a stupid question!
It will go straight to Lani Rosales, the “Evil Overlord” Admin at ADJ.
