This song means many things to many people, but my take on this song has always been – letting the world pass you by is no way to live. Once you wake up and realize that by being passive your dreams never materialize, and it’s to late. I’ve lived this song many times, and right now I think a lot of agents are waking up realizing they need to be unchained– it’s never to late.
Either way, this is one of my all times favorite songs – of all times..

Completely different take here … this struck me as the anthem for the male mid-life crisis.
“My G-d, What Have I Done?!?!?”
Yeah, that question rears its head every few years.

This is in my top ten too! I don’t know you but now I like you. As for interpretation, the beauty of a kick@#$% song is that it’s timely and open to many meanings.
