Hope for resolution?
Realtors in Iowa and across the nation have been on pins and needles, hoping for closure in the April 8 shooting of 27 year old Realtor Ashley Okland who was killed in a model home on the job.
Police told local reporters that they believed the murder suspect who was a “scruffy looking” guy to be another Realtor, but hundreds of leads later and the reward for information bumped all the way up to $66,785, no arrests have been made.
Over 30 days later, finally some action
All has been quite from the Des Moines Police Department until last night when four search warrants were issued but sealed.
Lt. Jim Barrett, the department’s public information officer told the DesMoinesRegister, “I can’t discuss the particulars of this case, but it’s not unusual in a homicide to do multiple search warrants to search for information and property.”
These warrants won’t likely make it to the evening news, but it is something for people to at least have hope in. Ashley’s family, friends, coworkers and the entire industry await some resolution in this case and will keep you up to date here.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop, AG, I had not seen anything on her murder in quite some time.

Well, at least it looks like they're making some progress. So sad.
