Attendance expectations
Leading up to the National Association of Realtors (NAR) annual conference, it was said there would be 18,000 attendees and because the economy is still down and many Realtors continue to struggle as housing suffers, it is interesting to note that the attendance levels at the conference beat expectations by 1,000.
According to NAR President Ron Phipps’ opening speech and ribbon cutting at the Expo, attendance was closer to 19,000 attendees in an era where many real estate conferences are seeing declining audiences and falling ad spends.
