DotLoop CEO makes prestigious Forbes list
Each year, Forbes magazine names 30 people under 30 that are leading innovation in their industry, calling them “today’s disrupters and tomorrow’s brightest stars.” The categories include art and design, energy, entertainment, finance, food and wine, law and policy, media, music, real estate, science, social and mobile as well as technology. Winners include household names like LeBron James, Mark Zuckerberg, and Matt Mullenweg.
DotLoop CEO, 26 year old Austin Allison is already featured on national television news shows and in print, and has now been named in the Forbes 30 under 30 list in the real estate category as he is “out to make the home sales process electronic across U.S., already adopted by Keller Williams, RE/MAX and EXIT Realty.”
DotLoop calls itself “more than just a forms software, DotLoop is a fully-integrated, wholly web-based negotiation platform allowing users to create, adjust, approve, and sign documents and contracts in one seamless, online environment.”
This month, the company announced that they will double their staff size in the coming years and have opened new urban offices in Ohio’s historic Longworth Hall to accommodate the growth.
The user experience is modeled after the Google concept of accommodating power users, CEO Austin Allison told AGBeat in October. Logistically, the product has a real time agile format like that of BaseCamp. The biggest challenge for the company is educating consumers as to what their offering is, as the paperless office is about more than signatures, but incorporates document management, reminder systems, and more.
The company will be partnering with more brands to expand their offering and currently serves residential real estate professionals which will eventually expand to other verticals like financial services and multifamily.
The American Genius is news, insights, tools, and inspiration for business owners and professionals. AG condenses information on technology, business, social media, startups, economics and more, so you don’t have to.
