Listen up, Realtors
This week, Charlotte Observer columnist Mark Washburn penned a list of nuggets of advice for the 2012 graduating class, most of which we wholeheartedly agreed with.
“Some bosses are like a GPS. They don’t know the best way, but there’s no point in arguing. Shop for a better boss.”
“You’re fast approaching the age where you learn that – no matter what it says on the package – there’s no such thing as fast relief.”
“Please – hang up and drive.”
“On Facebook, never “friend” a Realtor.”
Wait, what?
Maybe it was humor, maybe it was a golden piece of advice that forewarns new graduates that if they connect with some agents they’ll get spammed, or maybe it’s that if they “friend” a Realtor, they’ll learn about real estate market trends? Who knows? Maybe it was an attempt at humor amidst very serious advice? Maybe it was an ode to Jack Handey?
Readers, maybe you can speculate for us as to what Washburn’s advice about Realtors means?
