Renting is the new black and we are currently experiencing the perfect storm for real estate investors, but given the climate of rising rents and diminishing vacancy rates, there will inevitably be overpriced rental units. The listings below may or may not be overpriced, but either way, they are the most expensive in their city – we looked at the top 11 largest metro areas in the nation and see a huge difference between the top rate in cities like New York compared to others like Houston.
