Doodle: polls plus calendars for easier group scheduling

Simplifying herding of cats

What’s the first thing people say when you try to schedule a group meeting, call, trip, or event? “I can’t, I have to do [x],” while others say “I can do it that day, but can we switch it to the morning,” or even “that’s great, but it’s too far south for me, can we move it?” Herding these cats can be a nightmare, even with all of the technology available to make meetings virtual.

For in-person meetings, group calls, or virtual events, offers a solution that gets everyone on the same page – virtually. The free service puts a poll up, allows attendees to add themselves to the roster, and choose from times and locations so that no one’s the bad guy – majority rules.

The service also allows for a description of the event or meeting, and offers space for comments in the footer so communication between attendees is out in the open and easy to view by all.
