Read the fine print
There is a very special listing in Portland. It is a four bedroom, two bathroom house and is only $114,900. There are a lot of pictures taken by the listing agent who writes, “FIXER home, value in the land! Could be great opportunity for a buyer!”
At first glance, it looks like a standard fixer upper and if you’re like me and look at pictures first, you could miss the fine print…

OH.MY.GOD
This isn’t a case of a bad MLS photo, this is just a crazy listing! Like the agent says, the value really is in the land, but how often do you have to disclaim that there are rabid animals crawling all over a listing? Wow.
If you’ve never encountered a rabid raccoon in the dark, you have no idea how frightening a whirlwind of tasmanian devil with thousands of razor blade fingers and teeth is like. It’s scary.
Thanks to our friends at Redfin Chicago for finding this gem of a listing, it really made our day! Tell us in comments the craziest thing you’ve disclosed on the MLS is!
