I’m Rick JAMES, GLITCHES! – Hello World, WordPress inda Houz

What do you do when your options crashes in the MySQL database? Pray. We are certainly backed up at restore points on the servers but as you know, we’re a mad writing crew here at agentgenius.com. We crank out vast amounts of material in very short periods of time as all of our writers actually contribute. We nearly lost 7 articles from today, but thanks to some savvy level 2 techs, we skipped by with just a few hours of lost time and traffic.

They’ve fired off a list of error issues to the good folks at wordpress for their review, as the underlying issue with the new version of wordpress is still not resolved.

Thanks for being patient! We do our able best to stay up and running, but sometimes when you least expect it, the glitches jump up and glitch slap ya…

Stay Tuned!

Slightly Off Topic: Well, it looks like with the new Page Rank update, Agent Genius jumps to a healthy 4! Yay for Agent Genius!

Mariana, I am going out of my way to not brag about agentgenius.com and the raw data- I’m literally bursting to spill the beans, but I’m saving it for just the right occassion, simmering if you will…

Mariana, there goes THAT idea…..does this mean we should have back-ups of our posts?

Ines, we can only have restore points as any backup system has, we’re on a 12 hour cycle. Like I said, this is a wordpress glitch, not an us glitch. John Harper has already apparently lost a post in the upgrade.

On a side note… After seeing it mentioned on Laughing Squid (https://laughingsquid.com/the-wordpress-automatic-upgrade-plugin-rocks/)
I installed & used the WordPress Automatic Upgrade plugin to upgrade (https://techie-buzz.com/)

    Worked like a charm.

we actually upgraded days ago, this is a code issue that is conflicting with the MySQL when the server was rebooted rebooted for minor changes having nothing to do with agentgenius.com. All of the files are in place, but the database is somehow corrupted.

We also have a server load issue that will probably have us upgrading by mid february- that will be scheduled in advance and I’ll probably do it late on friday night sat morning. We’re growing like crazy madd.
