This isn’t science fiction, you guys, it’s real and it is FREE, so you don’t have to hunt for expensive options and vet vendors. Enter GroupMe which assigns a unique phone number to each group you create and even allows you to conference call with your group.
It’s currently in Alpha stage (which means it’s not even in beta yet), so it might be buggy, but it is a really useful solution to group communicating on the fly without someone having to know what “the Twitter” is!
