Did you miss me?
I did. I missed me a lot. Last time we spoke via AgentGenius, I had just temporarily let my real estate license expire in order to take care of some personal family-type stuff. It sucked being without a license. Simple as that.
The whole time, I was itching to dive back in, but I wanted to make sure I was able to do so with 100% dedication. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be the agent I want to be. I don’t like the world of half ass.
Along the way, I received a lot of encouragement, kind words, and had an epiphany or two. My broker and her sister (Sheila and Kristin Moran), who own RE/MAX Access, were super accommodating and encouraging during everything. They’re also super inspiring and helped me keep my mind on real estate by asking me to work on their new website for them (shameless plug) in my spare time. Pat O’Brien was also a huge help in keeping me on my toes while I was away. Even though I wasn’t able to be a working real estate agent, I was encouraged to keep thinking like one by many of the people I’ve surrounded myself with and it has kept me sharp and ready to go. I won some free coaching from Tom Ferry via ActiveRain as well, so that’s been helpful as I prep to get back to what I want to do with the rest of my life as a career.
I have nothing to teach in this post, nothing to wow you with – except the simple fact that you can come back, but you have to believe in yourself and having some people that support you never hurts. I’m back. A month older, but years wiser. Who’s ready?
