Seeking inspiration in creative places
Creative minds can be some of the most distracted minds. This only makes sense, seeing as how the wandering of the mind has played a crucial role in the development in some of the greatest pieces of art.
But on the quest for inspiration, these minds often run into roadblocks when quarantined to the comfort of their own home. Their normal surroundings can make them feel tired and could even serve as a distraction (“man, when was the last time I dusted in here?”)
AVVAY is an artist’s home away from home
Those looking for a home environment without the distraction of their own home may find solace in AVVAY, a take on Airbnb is designed for artists, particularly musicians, searching for the perfect place to let their creative juices flow.
According to their website, “AVVAY is a platform for artists of all kinds to find and book creative space. Our motto, “Keep Creating,” speaks to one of our ultimate goals, to give creatives the freedom and space they need to make what they want.
Whether that freedom comes from earning extra money with their personal space or easily finding, scheduling, and paying for the perfect space, AVVAY allows creatives to tap into resources that have never before been within reach. From commercial studios to the hidden gems in city lofts, farmhouses, and other eclectic locations, we want to make inspiration accessible.”
Artists can search, connect, reserve, and create
Music and tech industry pros started the company in Nashville with fellow artists in mind. As a guest, you can use the site to search for spaces and connect and make reservations with those listing properties. All of which leads you to “keep creating,” as AVVAY’s motto reads.
Hosts can list, price, schedule, and get paid
As a host, you are able to list your creative space, set prices and schedules, and host a creative. Not only do artists looking for a space benefit, but people with a cool, inspirational pad can make some extra cash by listing their property.
AVVAY has not yet launched, but those interested are able to join the site’s mailing list. Creativity has a lot to do with surroundings, and with AVVAY, you may be able to develop the next big thing.
