Excellence in Excel?
While I like to fancy myself as computer and technology proficient, I’ve never quite excelled with Excel. For whatever reason, I always managed to butt heads whenever attempting to operate the system.
I’m sure many of you can relate to the sensitivity of Excel. Maybe it’s just me, but whenever I make the slightest adjustment to a spreadsheet, the whole thing goes off the rails.
Fly by the seat of my computer
As a result, I try to avoid the program altogether. Being that I rarely require it for personal use, all is good until my boss says, “Hey, you’re good with Excel, right? I need you to do this, that, and the other.”
At this point, there is a crash course involved with trying to relearn Excel. Well, if you’re anything like me, you’ll be happy to know that help is now available.
officeAutomata makes Cortana even better
Cortana is an existing tool developed by Microsoft, but has been, developed by officeAutomata, operates as a digital assistant for Excel. Cortana exists to help master spreadsheets and increase productivity.
“officeAutomata enables Cortana to learn from your actions and create personalized macros based on your activity, as well as perform custom functions and commands like ‘Finish this Worksheet’ or ‘Can you help me find data?’.
By using Reinforcement Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, interactions with Cortana in Excel are a smooth and rewarding experience.
“Reduce your effort, increase productivity and save time on unnecessary tasks in Excel through officeAutomata and Microsoft’s Cortana,” according to officeAutomata.
How Cortana works
Cortana allows users to be effective, organized, and ready for any task while streamlining processes and saving time. In addition, having access to Cortana means having access to an Excel expert.
The officeAutomata assistant helps to cut through the hassle of unused functions to make sure users aren’t getting left behind.
Cortana with officeAutomata helps avoid the overuse of unnecessary effort, which helps to increase productivity.
Features offered by officeAutomata include: automating work, simplifying workbooks, and securing data. The collaboration of these features helps to expedite the Excel process.
With automating work, it learns and anticipates a user’s needs by learning said user’s workflow. Cortana’s actions are unique to an individual user’s activity.
With simplifying workbooks, there is an ability to undo commands, custom actions are available to speed up work, and there is automatic usability between workbooks. With this, there is no programming required.
Finally, all data is secure on the user’s computer, not online, so you know your business information isn’t floating around out there.
