ReachFactor has added a layer to their offering to help agents rank better in search engines, an increasingly important component of any local business.



ReachFactor adds online business listings management

ReachFactor launched in late 2011 to serve the real estate industry with interactive profiles for agents that is like a Yelp plus Foursquare plus ratings site that offers social proof to clients of their involvement in the community, track record, and reach – all verified.

Today, they are announcing a new layer – online business listings management to help real estate agents and brokerages claim, verify, and syndicate their local business listing information across hundreds of local directories and place pages to help them build online authority, which is now critical for local business visibility. Before launching, several large brokerages like Prudential Texas have already signed up.

How the service works

The company offers a free audit, then allows customers to move on to fix inaccurate info on existing web listings, claim unclaimed listings, add standard data (logo, URL) where missing, add enhanced data (photo, video) when allowed, syndicate, and submit frequently for fresh timestamps.

It all starts with claiming, correcting, enhancing, and optimizing your presence in the top 30 search, social, and directory sites. Then, they syndicate your enhanced data to the top data aggregators over 400 channels, with Dunn & Bradstreet coming soon.

Additionally, the company says the entire process offers true transparency, with an easy to view dashboard so you know what has been completed and where the accuracy of your business listings stands. There is a speedometer in the dashboard showing search ranking of business name and keywords, a timeline charting chronological progress, and other charts to simplify the viewing of progress.

Why this new product is relevant

Suresh Srinivasan, CEO of ReachFactor tells AGBeat, “There’s a strong window of opportunity right now for brokerages and agents to increase their Google rank (i.e. beat Zillow/Trulia/Realtor to the first page, map & mobile results) by claiming, correcting and enhancing their local directory citations.”

Srinivasan adds, “This product expands on the results our reputation marketing clients have seen by getting their Google rank enhanced with stars (Google ‘lori fleming reviews’ or ‘ogden ut real estate agent review’ and see how Lori shines when compared to the other agents on page 1). We launched this because we’ll now offer a ‘1-2 punch’ for brokers/agents to gain significant visibility AND influence prospects into doing business with them.”

While there are consultants you can pay high dollar to do this for you, or you could put in the tedious effort of doing it yourself, Srinivasan notes that at their price point, automating it with transparency throughout the process can save a tremendous amount of time and effort, and help an agent’s search engine rankings – vital in today’s digital world.
