America’s report card – residents weigh in on their own states

National sentiment

Leading into an election cycle, American sentiment appears to be fairly pessimistic with most states grading the education system, health care system, state economy, environmental friendliness, natural beauty and entertainment in their state ranking poorly. While some residents ranked their state high in categories like natural beauty, health care and education consistently ranked low for most respondents.

Although the methodology is unclear and the sample size is unlikely large enough to make a broad assessment, taken as a pulse, this poll gives an idea of the general sentiment in America that we have a lot of improving to do, even at a state level.
