[BREAKING NEWS:] The National Association of Realtors’ Center for Realtor Technology has just been added as a sponsor for the Real Estate Bar Camp (REBarCamp08).
Why is this breaking news? Because everyone’s whities are in a wad over how the NAR dinosaur doesn’t engage their members and technology is rendering them useless to their due-paying members.Â
Rather than making their first step into the Web2.0 world of real estate by sponsoring a supermega-conference, they’ve selected to make a splash by getting involved in the Real Estate Bar Camp which is free for attendees and is an exciting collaborative effort of idea sharing (read about the Bar Camp history and philosophy here).
