Inman News launched a new web site over the weekend. I have been invited to be one of the contributers to the new community section along with:
- Kris Berg, broker associate with Prudential California Realty in San Diego, and blogger at the San Diego Home Blog
- Jeff Turner, president of Real Estate Shows in Santa Clarita, Calif., and avid blogger at ActiveRain
- Daniel Rothamel, an agent with Strong Team Realtors in Charlottesville, Va., and founder of Real Estate Zebra.
From Inman News:
“Our vision for the new site was to create a virtual “watercooler” where people can still get the daily news, but if they want, they can also comment on and have a conversation around those stories too.”
“We also realize that there’s a serious case of social network fatigue setting into the industry now – so early on we decided against going too far down the social network road. It’s also why we tiered many of the features so you can choose to participate only as much as you want.” See: Inman Brings Community to the News.
Check it out and set up a profile.

Kudos to them for the new site, and to you for getting picked to be a contributor. I’m sure you’ll do good stuff for them.

Hey Teresa. Thanks for the write up we’re excited to have you part of the team!
For those AG readers who have been trying to visit the new site, please bear with us! We just got hammered yesterday and had our servers melt down on u, so we’re slowly trying to rebuild today.
Hopefully we’ll resolve all the outstanding issues soon.
