The evolution of the blogger- a historical infographic

Share

Flowtown.com has released a graphic outlining the historical timeline of how blogging came to be and our favorite part is the top left panel that says, “In the dark ages of the early 1990s…” For those who are new to blogging, it is worth looking at how this medium came to be and how the road was paved for what we all now enjoy as blogging.

The next generation of bloggers is coming and Flowtown believes (per the graphic) that the next generation blogger will be microbloggers using Twitter and I would add that in that same genre of regurgitation is the Tumblr generation of sharing and resharing media.
