Gmail upgrades make email more simple and efficient

Gmail additions streamline the process

Today, Google announced that they will be adding two new features to Gmail that will simplify your Gmail process. Gmail adoption is increasing, especially because Google operating systems are increasing their market share in the mobile sector.

The first Gmail upgrade applies to Google Chrome and Firefox browsers- it adds the ability to drag and drop files into a composed email. There are no extensions to add, it’s already live, simply drag a file from your desktop to anywhere in the open browser with an email draft.

The second Gmail upgrade is the ability to add GCal invitations directly into an email. In draft mode, all you have to do is look next to the attachment line and you’ll see the new “insert invitation” link. Again, you don’t have to download anything, it’s already integrated into Gmail.

I am slowly transitioning to gmail. I signed up for the Business app for email to use my domain name as too many people find me that way, couldn’t figure it out. Contacted to friends at Google in Ann Arbor, they couldn’t do it either. LOL

Couldn’t figure out the verification part.

So I am back to regular gmail. I need to review your other posts on it.

Very awesome. I only wish Gmail would allow me to insert images. Sometimes I like to share screenshots to show people what I’m talking about. I don’t see a way to do it with Gmail. Ditto photos or any other image. If they would do that I would be deliriously happy.
