Join up, get lawn service and the like on the cheap
Whenever I am outside, my neighbors run inside. It’s a fun game we play. I have seriously considered the possibility that a few of my neighbors are vampires, too. On the contrary, I have heard some people are lucky enough to move into the kind of neighborhood that gets together for block parties on holidays and they hand out alcoholic beverages to parents trick-or-treating with their kids in lieu of candy on Halloween.
If you happen to live in one of these cool, community-oriented neighborhoods, then you will be interested in hearing about Loq-ly. It’s for neighbors who want to join together to get services like lawn mowing, house cleaning, or snow removing on the cheap.
Maintaining your home is a big responsibility and your neighbors are most likely needing the same exact services you need. Loq-ly allows you and your neighbors to find and group these services using their website. If you’re a business, you can work through Loq-ly to gain clients who are in close proximity.
It makes sense to everyone involved to have a lawn mowing company come out and mow an entire cul-de-sac, instead of mowing one lawn and then driving 25 minutes to different part of town to mow another lawn. Loq-ly says that’s how you’ll save money too, by taking out these travel expenses.
Here’s why there are discounts
Service providers will be able to charge less money since it’s a full day of work, all in one trip. It’s a win-win situation for the businesses as well as the clients who hire them. The more people you get for the service, the lower the price goes.
They deal with the scheduling of everything too. Sometimes cancellations happen, and that might get complicated in a group situation like this. Loq-ly explains that businesses and their clients will be less likely to cancel since there’s a group effort involved and if there is a cancellation in the group it will not make that much of an impact.
In the future, more options will be available
They’re hoping to expand their offerings even more in the near future with services like gutter-cleaning, dog walking, and fitness training.
They’re growing geographically quite fast, so if you don’t happen to live in an area that has Loq-ly up and running, contact them on their website and they will get things moving for you.
In the meantime, I’m going to have to figure out a way to chase down my reclusive neighbors so I can talk them about this.
