Outleads is an online marketing software company that uses a single phone number to track all phone calls that originate on a business’ website. Using their own trademarked “Dynamic Capture” technology, each phone call request receives a unique ID, and this ID is then distributed to the phone call and the website’s analytics and leads management systems.
Then, the same ID will be use to retrieve details about the visit from the system, including: source, ad clicked, device, visit length, and webpage from which the call was initiated. Outleads can also use the ID to verify that calls were completed, ensuring data accuracy.
By using Outleads and a single phone number, you eliminate the need to buy and maintain multiple phone numbers, greatly reducing the costs associated with traditional phone tracking methods. It does not rely on the dialed phone number to match callers and visits, thereby eliminating the need to mask a real phone number.

On desktops, visitors will see a “Call” button on a webpage, which when clicked initiates a phone call to the Outleads network through the visitor’s browser. Since the call occurs through the browser, the visitor is unaware that he is not calling the business directly. Outleads receives the call request, associates it with a website visit in the business’ analytics system, and forwards the call. On mobile devices, there is a similar “call” button, however the number shown is a number in the Outleads network. Additional features include updating call log records via SMS and e-mail, tracking phone calls that originate in some third party websites that grant HTML editing capabilities (notably Craigslist), and pushing call data into AdWords as offline conversions. Although Dynamic Capture™ can be adapted to nearly every analytics system on the market, only Google Analytics is currently supported, but there is a plugin for Salesforce on the way.

How does it work? Dynamic Capture™ is comprised of a simple, short, ultra-lightweight code snippet that you paste into the HTML of each web page where you want to track phone calls. The button’s style can be adapted to fit your site’s look-and-feel, and overall page load speed is not affected.
Pricing varies per call/notification/tracking, but there are no setup or user fees, and there are no minimum commitments or limits.
