Lucidpress nails printing, goes dynamic for digital

Built by the team behind Lucidchart which enjoys over one million users, Lucidpress is launching in beta as a drag and drop design app for print and digital publishing, allowing anyone to create professional looking presentations without requiring tech knowledge.

Lucidpress is fully collaborative, allowing your team to make changes in real time and chat about changes, speeding up the design process, working alongside tools like Skype, DropBox, Evernote, and even Google Docs.

Live collaboration, easy to use platform

Early users say the software is much easier to use than many existing suites, and is more intuitive from the start. The product allows for seamless collaboration and pixel-perfect, multi-platform distribution, along with rich media integration including text, images and video on Google Drive, Dropbox, Flickr, YouTube and Facebook. Drag-and-drop functionality simplifies the entire experience, while real-time collaboration makes it easy to gather feedback from colleagues and clients.

“Our software epitomizes the transition from traditional ways of working to today’s more varied environments,” said Karl Sun, CEO, Lucid Software. “Where desktop software lags behind the new realities of an evolved market, we see a clear future with web-based applications. With Lucidpress, our goal is to make it easy for anyone to create stunning content like a design pro with all the added functionality made possible in the cloud.”
