Single property website done right
Whether on an iPad, a smartphone or a giant desktop screen, M Realty has just launched their first single property website and it is absolutely gorgeous. The URL is “https://5426ne32ndplace.mhom.es/” which is a clever way of incorporating their brokerage name in an easy to remember formula by combining it with the listing address – brilliant!
Open 5426ne32ndplace.mhom.es/ and you are immediately greeted with a full screen photo of the home. Then another, then another and then another, and before you know it, you’ve been sucked into looking at nearly a dozen full screen photos of the home that resize to your computer screen, and you’re asking your spouse for half a million dollars because you’re moving to Portland as soon as possible.
Finally, single property real estate websites have been designed the way consumers want them – full screen, high quality photos first and “the story” (as they cleverly dubbed property details) second. Concise, well written copy draws the viewer in to the listing information and with M Realty branding subtly on the page, the website appeals to the inherent consumer desire to look at real estate porn (dreamy pictures of home interiors).
The site is a work in progress – M Realty Founder, Garron Sellikin said, “nice to have great listing to work out design and code issues for the new theme.”
Why we highlight quality designs
We recently shared with you Canadian Realtor, Ryan McCann’s stunning real estate website that features large typography, modern colors and edgy design. We also shared with you that our quest to share quality design with you is in the effort to reinforce our belief that the website below that is still being sold to Realtors as consumer-friendly (or acceptable to be public, for that matter) is no more than template junk that should be eradicated:

Very nice. I especially like how when you reduce the screen to a small size the links turn into mobile friendly buttons. Good thinking.

Love the look. But what's most impressive is the speed at which those huge photos load.
