Budget proposals reveal evident trends
No matter which team you pitch for be it red or blue, national budget proposals are in the spotlight right now with everyone wondering which direction we’re headed as a nation.
As budgets are introduced and eventually passed, interest rates are impacted as are how government agencies are funded, so the very foundation of the practice of real estate can change based on which budget eventually passes.
Earlier this year, the President submitted to Congress his budget proposal followed by a new “framework” immediately after the House Republicans submitted their plan with Biden on the side working on his own proposal encompassing the red team and the blue team. None of the proposals has won yet and all are highly contentious.
The Washington Post has created interactive graphs charting how the debt and deficit would trend depending on which proposal passes and when charted together, a clear trend emerges pointing out the conservative proposals drastically reduce the debt and deficit while The President reduces the deficit but requires more debt.
