#NOTABADLOVESTORY
Whether you’re a Justin Timberlake fan or not, you have to admit he has a talent for rallying his fans in creative ways. Recently, on his website and through social networks, he launched the hashtag #NOTABADLOVESTORY to promote his song Not a Bad Thing.
The video below explains it best:
Beautiful! What a great video, and how amazing that his fans showed up in multitudes to share their love story.
What does this have to do with business?
You probably think I’m going to tell you to go start a social media campaign with a hashtag. I’m not. You already know what a hashtag campaign is, so I won’t insult you.
But what struck us here at AG is that this video taps into the exact reason we are all in business… the video above captures why we build. This is why all of us run our businesses. This is why we aspire to a higher achievement. Love.
Love of our spouse, love of our children, love of our family, love of our home, love of our pets, love of our weekends offline. Love.
Love is the real reason we wake up in the morning and make shit happen. Entrepreneurs take risks so they can build something great and leave behind a legacy because of love. Professionals push themselves as hard as they can so they can earn enough money to provide for their family because they love them. We all build, push, and aspire because we want to spend more precious time with our loved ones, or we want to retire early.
We all wake up in the morning and blaze a trail because we love. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be reading this as part of your quest to be better, and you would be working a dull job somewhere, settling.
And that is not a bad love story.
