Briefly …
Today … no … it’s now yesterday. Yesterday was one of those days where the blog was less about real estate and more about writing as therapy. Some of you understand. I know you do. We’ve had the discussion.
Real estate was put on hold, at least for a little while, and life moved on. There probably are more than a few folks in Edmonton wondering why this guy’s talking about a cat but they’re late to the party. Hopefully they’ll go through the archives.
Several of us have gone through the same … Sandra, Vicki. Some of us have dealt with matters of far more import, including our hosts here. Far more import.
If there’s a common thread, it’s that this community cares. It truly cares. For as much as this industry is made up of mercenaries, as much as many in the public view us as purely interchangeable, there are moments when you take a step back and realize these faceless strangers who make up the real estate blogosphere – writers and readers, agents and the general public – are here in large part for the connection we have built and share.
May we all find ways to connect for happier reasons as well.
Good night, my friends.

I’m sorry Jonathan. May your pain ease in the days ahead.
We are part of an amazing group of individuals.
