Letter to the editor
It is no secret that many Realtors are amazing people that go out of their way for others, not for referrals but simply because they are kind people. Recently, an Illinois Realtor did a good deed that ended in the recipient going out of her way to pay forward the gesture with a letter to the editor to local paper, Pantagraph.com.
I want to thank Kevin Troutman, a Prudential Realtor, for coming to the aid of my granddaughter and me about 5 p.m. August 9.
We had a blowout on the east side of Bloomington when traffic was scary. We called 911 and waited for help. Mr. Troutman stopped and said he used to be able to change a tire in less than seven minutes. Well, he still can.We packed up the old tire and were on our way home to Decatur on the donut at 40 mph. We arrived safely thanks to him. He didn’t hesitate to “pay it forward” and I will too when I get the opportunity.
Thanks again.
Jane Campbell
We wanted to share this letter with you as a reminder that there are still good people out there like Kevin Troutman, and equally good people like Jane Campbell that repay kindness. As a result of Troutman’s kindness, his name appeared in the local paper- what a fabulous reward.
