Best phone ever?
Stop the presses, the best phone in history has just been revealed and while it is no secret that we are huge HTC EVO fans here at AG, this new generation of the EVO would have us converting to Sprint no matter what. In January, polled AG readers about your smartphone preferences and learned that nearly half of you plan on buying an Android next, could this be the phone you’ve been waiting for?
First, let me get to the punchline and then I’ll give you the specs. This phone can (drumroll please) film in 3D and doesn’t require glasses to see the 3D effect. This is serious business. Can you imagine doing a fun 3D tour of your newest listing as a blog post? You can even watch back your 3D video instantly on the EVO.
HTC EVO 3D specs
No pricing or release date has been set, but it is rumored that we will see them on shelves this summer. It films HD in 1080p and 3D in 720p, a 1.2 gigahertz snapdragon processor, weighs 6 oz. (the weight of a hockey puck) and has dual 5 megapixel cameras in the rear with all of the goodies the first generation HTC EVO offers.
