Legitimizing Facebook lead generation efforts
TheMLSapp.com has just launched a new Facebook app called the “Facebook Conversion Page” that helps capture leads on Facebook in a more meaningful way than a simple “give me your email” way by offering a video greeting and MLS listing alerts right on your Facebook business page.
Users can record a welcome video and upload to YouTube, provide the link to TheMLSapp.com who creates a custom tab within an hour. Visitors can subscribe by email to MLS alerts and when they do, you’re notified immediately by phone and they get a daily email with their search parameters by email which sends them back to your Facebook Page when they want to see a listing. Facebook as an alternative to websites
Although NAR says two thirds of Realtors have a website, only 10% have a blog and many are relying on third party sites including Facebook as their web presence, making this conversion app all the more important.
Co-Founder Jimmy Mackin said the biggest challenge with the app is keeping it affordable “and in order for us to do that we typically need to work with the MLS as partner to roll out the product in their market. In most cases the IDX feeds cost significantly more than the app does for the agent. Our biggest challenge is partnering with MLSs to roll out the app to their membership.”
Powerful potential and how to get the app
We’ve seen a number of Facebook apps hit the market over the years, but this one appears to have the potential to make a Facebook business page a legitimate effort to convert leads and the return on investment looks promising.
Write your local board and send them a link to this story asking if they are working with TheMLSapp.com on bringing this conversion tool to your market.
