Latergramme adds a much needed feature to Instagram

Instagram is great for posting favorite photos and marketing opportunities, but wouldn’t it be great if you could schedule your Instagram posts so you are not flooding your followers with content all at once? Scheduling your posts is a very useful tool to have, now you can do this with Instagram via a new tool, Latergramme.

Latergramme is an iOS and web app that allows you to upload Instagram posts and then schedule them via the interactive calendar. You can choose a precise time and date you want your photo to appear, including the caption and when the time comes, you will receive a notification on your mobile device.

This notification will prompt you to open your Instagram app and publish them to your feed. If that seems like extra work, consider: Instagram does not allow third party software to post directly to the app, so you must open your official Instagram app and publish it in order for it to go through.

Latergramme is fairly simple to use. Once you have downloaded it from your app store, you will need to sign in with your email or Instagram account. Then you can select a photo from your camera roll, or take a new image.

If you want to save some time later, you can go ahead and enter your photo’s caption, then choose the time and date you want it to be published and select “upload.” You should then be able to see it under the “scheduled” tab (there is also a tab for ‘ready’ and ‘posted’).

If you decide to post now, swipe the image and you can post immediately; canceling the scheduled time/date.

If you keep it on the schedule, you will receive a notification at the designated time; when you see it, tap on it to launch Latergramme. Once it loads, you will see an Instagram icon; tap there to launch your official Instagram app and you are ready to edit and publish. And that’s all there is to it. Super useful if you are prone to forget about cross posting promotional materials to Instagram.
