Autonet Mobile turns almost any car into a connected car, affordably

Technology has gone from hand-held, to wearables, and now it’s in your car; from built-in WiFi, to voice commands your car is the newest piece of tech fun.

Autonet Mobile is the next generation of technology

Let’s face it, readers: some of you are so busy you can’t afford to take a car ride without constant internet connectivity. And while a smartphone can often provide some internet service on the road, the signal doesn’t stay consistent, and it’s easy to lose connectivity. Autonet Mobile is the “first wireless Internet service provider designed for your car.”

Autonet Mobile uses patented TRU Technology to provide an uninterrupted connection while moving at any speed. But it’s so much more…

Compatible for any wi-fi device

Autonet Mobile is compatible with any wi-fi device, laptop, tablet, or smartphone, and can be used in or around the car by multiple users. It’s great for families trying to keep the kids entertained on road trips, and for folks who want a World Wide Web’s worth of music options while driving. Autonet Mobile is even compatible with many video gaming devices.

Besides the fun and games, Autonet Mobile will obviously appeal to professionals who need to conduct business on-the-go. After using AutoNet to show clients their listings, one real estate agent raved that Autonet Mobile is “a product the NAR (National Association of Realtors) should be aware of. Every agent should have one.”

Available pricing plans

Autonet Mobile comes with a CarFi portable wireless router that uses both 3G and 2.5G cellular data networks to provide seamless connectivity at broadband speed. The router can be moved between different vehicles. The Autonet Mobile package also includes a monthly service plan at either $29 per month for 1GB of data, or $59 per month for 5GB of data. With 1GB of data, you can store over 350,000 emails, 6,000 web pages, 2,000 photos, and 240 songs.

Note from the Editor: we believe the Autonet Mobile will perform best for commercial use in fleets, as the pricing packages are a bit discombobulated, and difficult to find on the site for the average consumer. This leaves them vulnerable to their competition, but would be very easy to fix.

The future of Autonet Mobile looks exciting

Besides the connected car, Autonet Mobile is also developing products for the automotive industry, such as connected devices pre-installed in factory vehicles, as well as mobile apps that help you operate your car from your smartphone. With their mobile app, you can remotely open your car trunk, start the engine, unlock the doors, and more. With all of these technologies to distract you while driving, the mobile app graciously includes a phone blocker to help you keep your eyes on the road.
