Beautified’s design raises the bar for appointment apps

The best spas and salons in New York are ready to make your beautiful and it could not be easier to book an appointment.

Beautified is simply beautiful

Have you ever wanted to book an appointment at a beauty salon without searching online for the perfect place and waiting on the phone to book an appointment? If you are in the New York area, your wait is over. All you need is the new Beautified app and you can find just what you need, and if you’re not in New York, take a look at what they’re doing to raise the bar and keep reading to find out if it’s coming to your city.

Beautified offers the top-tier salon and spa services, tailoring to nine different areas: massage, facials, blowouts, haircuts, manicures, pedicures, brow waxing, bikini waxing, and makeup. While there are other apps that offer booking services, this one seems to allow users to take advantage of last-minute cancellations because you can book for the day of. In fact you cannot book for the next day until after 6 p.m. the day prior to when you want to go.

How Beautified operates

Once you have downloaded the app (currently only available to iPhone users), you will need to sign up, or log in with your Facebook credentials. All you need to sign up is your name, email, password, and the optional invitation code (if a friend has referred you). And you are ready to start booking your appointments.

It should be noted, however, that once you have booked an appointment through Beautified, the spa/salon will need to confirm your appointment. This usually takes no more than ten minutes and the app will notify you via text message when it is confirmed. This helps ensure that you have received exactly the appointment you want.

You can then scroll through services, select the one you want, and book it right from your iPhone. Many salons offer loyalty programs through Beautified. For example, once you have booked five visits, you may receive a complimentary service. You can also keep track of favorite salons and invite friends to join you. This is a great way to get appointments booked without spending any time talking on the phone.

Coming soon to a beautiful city near you

While Beautified is currently only available for salons in the New York City area, the app hopes to roll out services to Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, and Chicago, later this year.

Membership and app download are free. Beautified is currently only available to iPhone users.
