Lego style loft in Barcelona crams a full home into 260 square feet

Super small living – like a rockstar

In the super trendy Born district in Barcelona, Spanish architect Barbara Appolloni has designed a tiny apartment home out of a former pigeon loft. Yes, a pigeon loft.

The 260 square feet feature all of the amenities of a normal apartment, but with a twist – as demonstrated in the video above, everything fits together like legos, perfect for the bachelor it was designed for.

The design was inspired by the furniture on boats that are created to save room and stay behind closed doors. The other inspiration was the clean lines of a small Japanese home.
