How many times have you gotten to work and remembered you needed to mail promotional items, gifts, or documents? Finding a box, wrapping everything up, and getting it picked up or delivered to the postal office is time consuming.
It has to be done, but we all have other things that demand our attention. What if someone else offered to do the shipping for you? This would allow you to get on with the rest of your day while still getting those priority postal items out the door.
Even if you’re not covered up with items that need to be mailed at work, chances are you could use a little help at home. Think about all those items you get stuck re-packaging and returning to stores: shoes, clothes, and other items that you order and just don’t like when they arrive. Instead of spending time repackaging them and making a trip to the post office, a new startup, Shyp, can help get your items out the door without the hassle.
Shyp picks up your items, packages them, and sends your items for the lowest price. Sound too good to be true? It’s not. With Shyp, you’ll take a picture of the items you want to ship. This helps them determine what size vehicle to bring. Once you send them a picture of what you need shipped, a courier will arrive in approximately 20 minutes to pick up your items and get them packaged.
No need for boxes, Shyp provides the boxes and safely packages your items. After they’re all packed up and ready to go, Shyp will compare rates across multiple carriers (FedEx, UPS, and USPS) and send them out for the lowest available price.
Single fee for up to 20 shipments
Shyp charges a $5 fee for their services, but this fee covers pickup and professional packaging for up to 20 shipments. This means that you can send to 20 different addresses for a single $5 fee. Currently, their courier services are only available to San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Chicago. Hopefully, they will be expanding their services to additional cities soon.
