Progress for Sweepre Interactive
Sweepre Interactive, formerly Windermere Solutions, announced this summer the launch of their touchCMA™ for the web, a tool designed for real estate agents and brokers, putting the company’s comparative market analysis (CMA) technology into the cloud so users can access the graphic-rich tool through any web-enabled computer, or sync it with their iPad application.
The company made the touchCMA for the Web and touchCMA for the iPad available nationally to real estate brokerages and multiple listing services on a white-label basis, today announcing Real Estate Business Services® Inc. (REBS®), the products subsidiary of the California Association of Realtors (CAR) will use their flagship product as a co-developed tool to add to the association’s Clarus REsource® technology suite which launches today, fully branded as the “Clarus TouchCMA.”
“Consumers have become much more savvy in how to use technology to buy and sell homes, and they expect REALTORS® to keep pace with them. That’s why it’s essential that real estate professionals have the latest technology available,” said Robert Bailey, Chairman of REBS®. “By using Clarus touchCMA™, REALTORS® can offer a more engaged client experience that focuses more on conversation than presentation.”
Sweepre’s new CEO
For the last month, the company has been somewhat quiet about their new CEO, York Baur who comes to the very young company with over 25 years of technology sales, marketing, business development, and corporate development experience. OB Jacobi was the original CEO, and will now focus on his original leadership role at Windermere Real Estate, which his where Sweepre originally spun off from.
Previously, Baur was the CMO of The TAS Group, EVP of Business and Corporate Development at Zango, and Executive Vice President and General Manager at InfoSpace. He has led the growth of new technologies, overseen acquisitions, and more. He has also held executive and key management positions at the Space Needle, Wall Data, Attachmate, and Microsoft. Interestingly, Baur is also the Founder and President of Peninsula Heritage Productions, which produced the movies Twilight In Forks and Destination Forks, which have sold over 1.5 million copies globally.
The takeaway
Through announcing their first major white label partnership out of the gates as CAR, and bringing on a well versed CEO, the company is sticking to its promise of an aggressive growth year for 2012. We forecast similar partnerships with associations and medium to large brokerages that will white label their TouchCMA technologies, and for more products to come online soon.
