Google launches Google Catalogs

Today, Google is announcing Google Catalogs for Android tablets and the iPad, replacing the dozens of catalogs consumers kill trees for every year. With 125 retailers, Google is confident that all of your favorite shopping catalogs are in one place and are up to date in their sexy, glossy, digital form.

Abigail Holtz, Business Product Manager at Google Catalogs said in a statement, “With rich product images, videos, and the ability to curate your own personal collages to share with friends, Google Catalogs makes browsing your favorite mail order catalogs easy, fun and interactive.”

Current brand partners include Nordstrom, Williams-Sonoma, Nike and Sephora and the app has over 400 digital catalog issues that cover categories such as mens & women’s apparel, jewelry, gifts, gourmet, toys, kids, gadgets, sports & athletics and outdoor adventure.

To download the Google Catalogs app, visit Google.com/Catalogs, camp out on the couch, and get to flipping the pages of your favorite catalogs without being a tree murderer.
