Two escaped teens
Two teens have been arrested after an attack on a Nebraska Realtor over the weekend. 18 yr old Vaughn White, escapee from Kearney Youth Detention Center is now being held at Lancaster County Jail for robbery and 17 year old Joshua Provencher, a runaway from a group home in Papillion is being held at the Youth Detention Center in Lincoln for robbery.
At 2:45pm on Sunday afternoon, a 58 year old female real estate broker was holding an open house on North 7th Street in Lincoln just north of the University of Nebraska campus, where homes are small and are in the $35,000 to $100,000 range.
A homemade shank
The two teens entered the home and one was armed with a homemade shank and demanded the agent’s car keys, wedding ring and purse. When she refused, she was punched in the face and forced into a bathroom, according to Lincoln Police.
When the teens ran out, the Realtor ran out of the front door and yelled for help. The teens were caught several blocks away, drenched in sweat and were arrested.
One man working in the area led police to the victim’s purse and possessions. The Realtor says she is okay.

That concealed handgun license is starting to make more and more sense.

Crazy!! Another reason to not do open houses, or at least not alone.

Why did they drench them in sweat before arresting them? Is that a Nebraska thing? 😉 Sorry, I couldn't resist. That is a scenario I had never considered. Going to rethink my strategy in the future.
